Helping creators fearlessly shape culture.

Hey! I’m Makisha.

I’m a quirky creative who loves out loud by building community and getting my hands dirty in strategy.

I’m a culture creator.

Over the years, I’ve helped people fearlessly shape culture by creating their authentic brand that disrupts the status quo. I’ve coached creators on how produce on/offline experiences that are both personal and valuable for the audience that is being served. I’ve traveled the world including France, Guatemala, Peru, Botswana, Haiti, and Turkey, empowering people to become relentless in their pursuit of creating a life they love.

 I’m a community builder.

I serve Black women through Creative Culture Tribe, a breeding ground designed for creative women of color. I’ve partnered with brands such as Pepsico, Boxed Water, and Leuchtturm Journals when I organized and hosted the first annual Creative Culture Tribe Miami Summit in 2019.

I also represented my organization The Living Room Project in Istanbul, Turkey for the Middle Eastern Partnership Initiative Alumni Conference and the University of Delaware, where I taught MENA college students on community building. On the precipice of the pandemic, I partnered with Capital One Cafe to host a dialogue on entrepreneurship + economic mobility for creatives.
